DEMURRAGE : It is the fee, accepted by the shipper, when the free time, allowed for loading and unloading by the shipowner or agency, is exceeded.

STORAGE : It is the rent, paid by every vehicle which uses the port area. Storage fee increases in direct proportion to the time used.

MANIFESTO: It is a document which shows what the coming or going goods are, their weight, how they were packed and to whom they will be delivered at the destination, etc.

BILL OF LADING: It is a legal document which shows in which condition the load was received onto the ship and loaded, under what conditions it will be carried and delivered 

FI/FO : FREE IN /FREE OUT

LI/LO : LINER IN / LINER OUT

SHIPPED ON BOARD: Record/date which shows that the goods have been loaded onto the ship.

FREIGHT: FREIGHT CHARGE

FREIGHT PREPAID: It states that the freight charge will be paid in advance

FREIGHT COLLECT:It states that the freight charge will be paid at the destination port

GATE IN: Container entering the port

GATE OUT: Container exiting the port

TLX RELEASE/ WAYBILL: It allows the goods to be released to the buyer without submitting the original bill of lading

ORDER: It is an order or instruction, issued to ensure that the goods, written in the bill of lading can be cleared from the customs.

AWB: Airway bill ( Aşrway bill of lading )

CMR: Highway bill of lading

BILL OF LADING: Marine bill of lading

HOUSE BILL OF LADING:  It is a non-negotiable transport bill, issued by the Transporter (Forwarder) who does not perform the transportation itself.

CY/CY:Container yard / Container yard (agency carrying a container from one port to another )

loader
